# ClipPy

Seriously, though, there is a severe lack of modules that copy data to the clipboard, especially non-text data.  ClipPy is here to fix that!  The goal of ClipPy is to provide copy/paste functionality of any copy/paste-able data for as many platforms as possible.

Not to be confused with the [clippy, the command line parser for Python](https://github.com/gowithfloat/clippy).  The naming of this project is a tribute to the digital assistant everyone loves to hate, [Clippy](https://www.mentalfloss.com/article/504767/tragic-life-clippy-worlds-most-hated-virtual-assistant).
